ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
As the first apartment development in this emerging residential area, The Vanguard sets a high standard for quality and design. Designed by Gel Architects, this is an elegant and modern addition to the Epsom streetscape.
On the road side, the feature box frame of dark metal, concrete and timber is an imposing design statement that contrasts with the interesting white aluminium screens. On the west elevation, the balconies follow a zig-zag pattern which turns the apartments to the north and provides privacy from neighbours. On the eastern façade, the walkway is lined with green walls.
LEADING THE WAY IN APARTMENT DESIGN
Yellowfox have created sophisticated interior spaces, designed to maximise natural light and views.
These apartments are high-quality and well-proportioned, and efficient spatial planning has ensured that there is no compromise between storage, space and flow between rooms. The living areas include a heat pump.
All bedrooms feature generous wardrobes, and in the two bedroom apartments, the master bedrooms have their own ensuite and open directly to the balcony.
BATHROOMS
The fully-tiled walk-in showers are the cornerstone of the well-proportioned bathrooms. Wall-hung vanities add to the sense of space with storage in the wall-to-wall mirror cabinet, while underfloor heating offers a luxurious touch.
KITCHENS
Most of the apartments enjoy full-sized kitchens with timber accents. Subtle details such as the under-mounted sink and the negative detail to the engineered stone benchtop make for a refined design that complements the sophisticated interiors. All apartments feature Smeg or Miele appliances.
